I understood the two and them working together in dialog. (Billy is the second person I met in real life that I first meet on-line. That is cool!)I know the world is changing, so do my parents, we watch the children and feel so old.
But, the world is dark, violent, lost, and sad. We claim to have joy, hope, peace and love in our faith... God help us to do whatever it takes to share God and the gospel of Jesus...
And I really enjoy the connections I have made with this tech stuff!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10217302.post-36214921156708684692009-01-17T10:43:00.000-06:002009-01-17T10:43:00.000-06:00Hi Andy,This is the first time I had to miss Minis...Hi Andy,
This is the first time I had to miss Minister's School in several years & it sounds like I really missed out on something thought-provoking & challenging. I have started a blog (with some trepidation). Check it out at www.faholojope.blogspot.com
Grace and peace, LindaRevLhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01317221479667934621noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10217302.post-48796627978541830672009-01-16T19:17:00.000-06:002009-01-16T19:17:00.000-06:00Hi Andy, I have enjoyed your posts about the minis...Hi Andy, I have enjoyed your posts about the minister school you were holding. It is so great when people realize that a goal can be "to practice being open to learning new ways to relate to people." You don't always have to come back from a retreat like that and have a handfull of outlines and buzzwords. The fellowship and broadening of horizons about what is going on is well worth the time and effort to be a part of. Hopefully the ministers left with a sense of inspiration that sometines the options are not black and white but that a little new color can create a wonderful new ministry. God Bless.
KyleKyle Bridgmanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09794403792411961360noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10217302.post-89119200730052709072009-01-16T18:51:00.000-06:002009-01-16T18:51:00.000-06:00Hey, Andy. My husband and I guage a good movie not by the outcome of the story, but by how many days we think about it afterward. I have already journaled thoughts out several times, in addition to several conversations my husband and I have shared. Ministers' School this year provided much food for thought, and gets five stars from us. On a separate note...if you ever need a little pick-me-up, just remember..."Shine Jesus Shine"...hee hee.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
