Spark of Hope?

Israel says at this time they are not going to retaliate militarily for the recent attack in Tel Aviv. I found the story here.

I can't help but feel a tiny little spark of hope at this news. I pray that spark is not quenched, but fear that it might be. Even so, this gesture is remarkable.

    I hate to be pesimistic, but...according to prophecy don't we have to have unrest with Isreal and the Middle East before the return of Christ?

    I suppose that it woud depend on your view of eschotology. I would tend to say let God worry about the timing. We should pray for peace.
