I believe that the conversation matters. If in the attempt to realize the reign of God on earth, we cannot engage one another in respectful and grace-filled dialogue, we might as well not even try.

That was excellent! Thanks Andy-man!
Satire: speaking the truth in love.
Cynical comment for the day (ok for the HOUR): at least they are coming to church, any church....
It's so true is scarry. It's hysterical, but, let's see, do I laugh or cry. Or laugh till I cry. Or laugh so I won't cry. JB
A perfect "relevant worship" companion piece to the Bishop's new book.
Sure hope your church is not going into the drive thru business.
I am like JB this is so scarry---because I think that is what alot of people now days want---fast speedy church services with no committment.

Sad, but true. It seems people are more interested in what church can do for them instead of what they can do for church. (No offense to the mega-churches but...)

I shared this with the other pastors on our staff. It is sadly spot on. It's something every Leadership Council and SPRT should see as well.
Too funny - I put it up at my place too.
I wonder what it would look like if we clergy were the customers ;)
